I like new music blogs. But 90% of what they put up is shit. Of course it is. Their principle aim is to post the newest content - not the best.
Why write an article about a 192 kpbs radio rip of a leaked b-side? Is anyone - apart from rabid completists - really bothered?
This blog will solely be concerned with long-form articles about the greatest albums of all time. The aim will be to provide informative, relatively analytical and interesting prose, while avoiding NME style gimmicks or cliches. That isn’t to say there won’t be anything about new music, or the occasional YouTube clip.
I listen to everything, and there will be articles about 60s pop, funk, disco, post dubstep, surf pop, jazz and anything else that’s fantastic.
